ObjectivePediatric patients of Mycoplasmal pneumoniae infection accept hypertonic saline bronchial provocation test (BPT), To explore the changes of airway responsiveness in paediatric patients of Mycoplasmal pneumoniae infection by analysising and evaluating the Indicators of Bronchial hyperresponsiveness (BHR)Methods60 cases of MP infection hospitalized in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine of Subsidiary Sheng Jing of Chinese medical university hospital Between June 2008 and January 2010 were divided into two groups; group1:Mycoplasmal pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP group),31 cases,The patients included 17 boys and 15girls,their average age was 8.40±2.46 year; group2:Mycoplasmal pneumoniae infection associated with Asthma(MP infection Accompanied with Asthma),28 cases,The patients included 16 boys and 12 girls, their average age was 8.68±2.18 year. The control group Selected the paediatric patients of asthma without of MP infection and healthy children at the same time; group3:Asthma without of MP infection,31 cases,The patients included 18 boys and 13 girls, their average age was 7.83±2.19 year; group4:healthy control group children,15cases,The patients included 8 boys and 7 girls, their average age was 9.20±2.90 year; All subjects accept bronchial provocation test by kangxun pulmonary function instrument produced from Germany, Excitation drugs was 4.5% saline. Normal theoretical value was calculated depending on their's height, and weight, Research Index was the The ratio of actual value pulmonary function and normal theoretical value, Research Indicators was the discrepancy of the Result1. MPP groupThe index of airway responsiveness decreased, the average△FVC decreased 7.13, the average△FEV1 decreased 8.31, the average△PEF decreased 4.34, the average△MEF25-75 decreased 15.34,The small airway responsiveness's index decrease especially.there are obviously Different in the all index between the MPPgroup and the healthy control group.2. MP infection Accompanied with Asthma groupAll the index of airway responsiveness decreased, the average△FVC decreased6. 61, the average△FEV1 decreased 11.29, the average△PEF decreased 14.00, the average△MEF25-75 decreased 18.32,.There are obviously Different in the all index between the MP infection accompanied with asthma group and the healthy control group.3. MPP group and MP infection acompanied with asthma groupThere are obviously different in the all index between the two group, The positive in the BPT was 6cases, Positive rate was 18.75%, he positive in the BPT has 13 cases in the MP infection accompanied with asthma group, whitch Positive rate was 46.63%,The Positive rate was higher in MPP group than in MP infection acompanied with asthma group.4. MP infection acompanied with asthma group and asthma group without MP infectionThere are no different in the△FVC,△FEV1,△PEF between the two group, But△MEF25-75 which reflact small airway responsiveness decreased obviously in the MP infection acompanied with asthma group than the d asthma group without MP infectionConclusionMycoplasma pneumoniae infection may lead to airway response to increased, the BPT was positive in part of patients, BPT-positive rate was higher in the MPP group than the healthy control group.but it was less than the MP infection acompanied with asthma group.
