Chiropractic Manipulation Combined With The Impulse Therapeutic Equipment For The Treatment Of Lumbar Zygapophysial Joint Pain In Clinical Observation

ObjectiveThis study was designed to collect and analyze Hospital of TaiwaiTaibei in October 2009-2010 years in February hospitalized cases of Lumbar Zygapophysial Joint Pain, the use of Chinese medicine theory and the method of combining Chinese and Western Medicine, in theory and clinical studies, Through Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial (RCT), observed Chiropractic Manipulation combined with The Impulse therapeutic equipment for the treatment of Lumbar Zygapophysial Joint Pain in clinical observation. To observed the different effective rate between Chiropractic Manipulation and Impulse therapeutic equipment, and to find if using two menthods, it can improve effective rate or reduce the time of therapy, as the reference for further study.MethodsThis study was a randomized, controlled, exploratory approach, the object is to TaiwaiTaibei Provincial Hospital of 2009-2010 years in February hospitalized cases of Lumbar Zygapophysial Joint Pain, the total of 90 patients were randomly divided into three groups,31 cases in which the Chiropractic group,30 patients in impulse group,32 patients in combination group. we use preparation manipulation before every group. Chiropractic Manipulation group Patients were simply given to chiropractic treatment; The Impulse therapeutic equipment group Patients were simply given to Impulse therapeutic equipment to cure the Local spine and Combination of the two treatment groups were first given one way, and then give another way. At the before of the treatment, each group were writeen JOA and VAS table. and At the end of the treatment, each group were writeen VAS table again. we should write time every three days, the total time is three times. At the end of the treatment, we will compare with these three groups of before and after treatment effects.ResultsChiropractic Manipulation group Patients were markedly effective in 4 cases and effective in 18 cases, the total effective rate was 70.97%; The Impulse therapeutic equipment group Patients were markedly effective in 14 cases and effective in 8 cases, the total effective rate was 73.33%; However Combination of the two treatment groups Patients were markedly effective in 14 cases and effective in 16 cases, the total effective rate was 93.75%, Among three groups, The total efficiency of Combination of the two treatment groups was the highest (P<0.05), But comepare with another two groups, there were no significant treatment (P>0.05).ConclusionsThe clinical studies showed that:①Simply using Chiropractic Manipulation method, it can pull out conveniently, rotate the waist, can not only for adhesion around nerve root, adjust the small joints and slide around cystic heterotopic, also can restore between vertebra gap, reduce the hole of nerve root of oppression, restore the waist, the first function is predominance.②The biggest characteristic of the Impulse therapeutic equipment is using the principle of the feedback, the spurs to arouse and adjust the immune system, strengthen the body, make the body internal resistance, unbalanced state corrected repair, self-improvement, adjust, the purpose of curing the disease, the treatment has good effect, but need certain time.③Combination of the two treatment groups can relieve muscle spasm, promoting blood circulation, inflammation, the effect of pain, rapid short course, the recurrence rate is low。it is a good therapy, especially in outpatient service or emergency of acute joint patients treated.
