ObjectiveAlthough the course of Parkinson's disease (PD) is long and the treatment is difficult, it provides a very long treatment time for us at the same time. Therefore, we should make use of this good opportunity and develop the TCM treatment of PD, which is one of the direction that we work hard. This research observes the Wumei Wan's clinical curative effect and security, trying to look for a new way to the PD.MethodThis study elects the PD patients as studied objects to take a prospective random parallelism comparison survey. These patients were grouped randomly into two groups:Twenty in either group. We gave the Treatment Group (TG) Decoction of PD No.1 or PD No.2 and madopar one dose per day. And the Comparison Group (CG) takes the madopar referring to the randomization, the dose was as same as Treatment Group. The test ran referring to the test requirement rigorously. At last, All cases of EG and CG has not been lost. Observing cycle of the two groups were both two months. SPSS 13.0 software was used to handle datum. T-test was used to handle quantitative datum and rank sum test was used to handle categorical datum.ResultPrior treatment, gender, age, course of disease,H-Y grading of pathogenic condition and UPDRS score, motion experiment,Bristol stool scale score,PDSS score and medication of the two groups had no statistical difference(p>0.05). the basal line of two groups is coincident, and with comparability. The outcome shows:Contrast the integral of motion experiment of two groups of prior-treatment to which of post-treatment, the TG's timing motion test of left hand of post-treatment has increased than that of prior-treatment. The difference is significant (P<0.05). And the the TG's turning motion time of post-treatment has increased. The difference is significant (P< 0.05)Contrast the integral of UPDRS of two groups of prior-treatment to which of post-treatment, the TG's integral of post-treatment of ordinary activity, movement function and complication has decreased than that of prior-treatment. The difference is significant (P<0.05). However, the EG's integral of post-treatment of phychosis, behavior, emotion, not improved significantly (P>0.05). The CG's integral of post-treatment of UPDRS scale is not improved significantly (P>0.05). Contrast improvement ratio of the integral of UPDRS of two groups of post-treatment, in terms of the improvement ratio of the integral of ordinary activity, the EG is superior to the CG. The difference is significant (P<0.05). But in terms of the other part of UPDRS, the difference of the two groups is not significant (P>0.05)。Contrast the integral of Bristol stool scale of two groups of prior-treatment to which of post-treatment, the TG's score of post-treatment has increased than that of prior-treatment. The difference is significant (P<0.05).And the improvement ratio of the integral of Bristol stool scale of two groups of post-treatment, the TG is superior to the CG. But the frequency of defecation in both groups, contrast prior-treatment to post-treatment, is not improved significantly (P>0.05). And the improvement ratio of frequency of defecation in both groups, the difference of the two groups is not significant (P>0.05)。Contrast the integral of PDSS of two groups of prior-treatment to which of post-treatment, is not improved significantly (P>0.05).And the improvement ratio of frequency of defecation in both groups, the difference of the two groups is not significant (P>0.05)。ConclusionThrough the clinical prospective random parallelism comparison trail, we can see there is a better curative effect of PD No.1 or 2 for patients with PD. When the trail was over, the availability percentage of TG is 40%, while that of CG is为5%. And the constipation of TG has improved. These indicate that the curative effect of treatment of EG is superior to that of CG.
