Objective:To investigate the protective effect of dietary fiber on intestinal mucosa barrier in inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD) rats, and to provide the basis for its clinical application. Methods:IBD model was established by colonic perfusion of 8% acetic acid in SD rats. 96 SD rats are divided into 3 groups(32 in each group). The group A is fed only nutrison without DF. Dietary fiber was given to the IBD rats to protect intestinal barrier disfunction in group B and C.But the proportions of SDF and IDF in group B and C are different. Blood was collected to examine serum TNF-a and CRP concentration by ELISA. The samples of small intestines were calculated mucosa impairment scores by light camera.Results:1.After the enteral nutrition,TNF-a concentration in plasma in each group was not statistically significant in the first day (P>0.05).In the 3th% 5th and 7th day, TNF-a concentration in plasma in group B and C were significantly lower than in the A group(P<0.05). TNF-a concentration in group C was lower than in the group B(P<0.05).2. After the enteral nutrition, CRP concentration in each group was not statistically significant in the first day (P>0.05).In the 3th,5th and 7th day, CRP concentration in plasma in group B and C were significantly lower than in the A group(P<0.05). CRP concentration in group C was lower than in the group B(P<0.05).3 The score of inflammatory injury of small intestines was much milder in the B and C group than in the A group at different time points(P<0.05).In the 5th and 7th day, the score of inflammatory injury of small intestines in group C was significantly lower than in group B(P<0.05).Conclusion:The common enteral nutrition contained dietary fiber in preventing the intestinal mucosa barrier is superior to the enteral nutrition alone in IBD. Different proportions of the SDF:IDF has different protective effect on the intestinal mucosa barrie.Increasing the proportion of IDF is beneficial in preventing the intestinal mucosa barrier.
