PET/CT(Positron emission tomography - computed tomography)is a medical imaging device which combines in a single gantry system both a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and an Computed Tomography(CT), it can also provide anatomic imaging by CT and functional imaging by PET of patients in the same conditions, which is an advanced medical imaging diagnostic techniques. At present , the radiopharmaceutical FDG is the most commonly used for PET/CT scan. As the use of PET/CT becomes more widespread and patients more increasingly. To research the distribution of FDG in patients and the cancer risk of patients, staff and nursing has application value. At the first, this paper analysised the distribution in the main organs of 18F-FDG in the lung cancer patient and healthy patient. At present, the clinical always used SUV value as a Semi-quantitative assessment to analysis the 18F-FDG uptake in some tissues(brain, lungs, cancer tissue, kidneys, bladder, muscle and bone), it is connected with radiation dose distribution. This article attempted to use the body surface area method and the lean body weight method to correct the SUV. Not only analyzed the difference between adjustment methods and clinical methods, which used lean body weight to adjusts, but also has further analyzed the relations of SUV and the patient blood glucose concentration. The results show thatP<0.05, when to adjustment cerebral cortex, renal pelvis and urinary bladder through three kinds of SUV adjustment methods, which indicated the three methods not entire equivalent or all not equivalent. As for the other tissues and organs can not explain a difference by three correction methods. Blood glucose concentration affect the organization of the 18F-FDG uptake, was negatively associated with brain tissue and tumor SUV. For the distribution of 18F-FDG in the lung cancer and healthy patients which excluded tumor organization, the result of statistical showed thatP>0.05, it is not statistically significant. The second, this paper studied the patient's absorbed dose caused by internal radiation after 18F-FDG injection, and additional absorbed dose which caused by the family member, and had estimated the patient's Cancer Risk. The result showed that the range of cancer risk is 1.68×10-3~3.28×10-3,the impact radiation had on the family members whose to provide nursing care was very small. Under the conditions of the same total dose injection,Radiation cancer risk for female was slightly higher than male, about 1.055 times. Finally, this paper researched the workplace of radiation effects on medical staff, estimation of annual effective dose for doctors, technicians and nurses respectively. Technicians was the maximum, which the annual effective dose was 0.692mSv. As with occupational exposure, which is well below the annual dose limit of recommended by ICRP-103. In addition, this paper estimated of radiogenic cancer risk based on the risk projection models by the BEIR VII report.Cancer risk is relatived not only with dose, but also with age at exposure, time since exposure ,attained age and some other factors. |
