| ã€Objective】To study the expression of CD147 protein and MMP-9 in ectopic and eutopic endometrium tissues and serum levels of soluble CD147 in patients with adenomyosis and to investigate the role of them in the pathogenesis of adenomyosis.ã€Methods】Immunohistochemistry was performed to detect the expression of CD147 and MMP-9 protein in ectopic endometrial and eutopic endometrial tissues of 37 patients with adenomyosis(AM group) and endometrial tissues of 20 patients only with hysteromyoma(control group),and to explore the correlation between the expression of CD147 and MMP-9 protein;ELISA was used to detect levels of soluble CD147 protein in the peripheral blood of AM group (37 cases with adenomyosis)and control groups(20 cases with hysteromyoma and 20 healthy cases).ã€Results】The expression of CD147 and MMP-9 protein in glandular and stromal cells in ectopic and eutopic endometrium of patients with AM were significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.01),and the expression of CD147 and MMP-9 protein was much higher in ectopic endometrium than that in eutopic endometrium of patients with AM.The expression of CD147 protein was positively correlated with MMP-9 in patient with AM. The serum levels of soluble CD147 was much higher in AM groups than those both in control group with hysteromyoma (p>0.05) and healthy group (p<0.05).ã€Conclusion】(1)The high expression of CD147 and MMP-9 protein in eutopic endometrium of patients with AM showed which enhanced the invasiveness of endometrium and promoted the eutopic endometrium invasion of the myometrium, involved the initial stage of adenomyosis;(2) The high expression of CD147 and MMP-9 protein in ectopic endometrium of patients with AM demonstrated a higher invasion force of ectopic endometrium, may also be the basis for survival of ectopic endometrium;(3)the expression of CD147 and MMP-9 protein in eutopic endometrium or ectopic endometrium of patients with AM was positively correlated, while there was not correlation between the expression of CD147 and MMP-9 in the endometrium of control group, indicating that the CD147 protein may promote the development of adenomyosis by inducing the expression of MMP-9;(4)the high levels of serum soluble CD147 protein of patient with AM,indicating that soluble CD147 maybe by inducing the expression of CD147 and then induce the expression of MMP-9, and ultimately enhanced the invasion and metastasis of the endometrial glandular and stromal cells. |
