Correlative Study Between MRI Features Of Invasive Pituitary Adenomas And The Expressions Of B-cell Lymphoma Gene 2 And Galectin-3 In Invasive Pituitary Adenomas

Purpose:To detect the expressions of Bcl-2 and Gal-3 in invasive pituitary adenomas andexplore the correlative relationship between the expressions of Bcl-2 and Gal-3 and MRI featuresof invasive pituitary adenomas.Methods:①Retrospective study the MRI data of pituitary adenoma and grouped；②The expressions of Bcl-2 and Gal-3 were detected in 26 invasive pituitaryadenomas and 23 non-invasive pituitary adenomas by using immunohistochemical Envisionassay.The correlation between the expressions of Bcl-2,Gal-3 and MRI features of invasivepituitary adenomas were studied.Result:1.Compared with the non-invasive pituitary adenomas,the expressions of Bcl-2increased in invasive ones(P<0.05).Compared with the non-invasive pituitary adenomas,the expressions of Gal-3increased in invasive ones(P<0.05).2.There was a positive correlation between the expressions of Bcl-2,Gal-3 and MRIfeatures of invasive pituitary adenomas at protein level.Conclusion:The increased expressions of Bcl-2,Gal-3 are significantly correlated with theinvasiveness of pituitary adenomas,and they may be used in diagnosis and evaluation ofpredictions in pituitary adenomas.
