| Objective:To investigate the relation of early serum concentration of sICAM-1 with clinical grading and outcome in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. Methods:Samples of serum concentration of sICAM-1 in 56 patients were measured within three days of SAH onset by ELISA and analyzed statistically the association with Hunt-Hess scale.Fisher scale and GOS score.Results:1.the early serum concentration of sICAM-1 of the experimental group (228.88±13.763 ng/ml) was higher than the control group (207.83±16.945 ng/ml) (p<0.05);2.the early serum concentration of sICAM-1 of the Hunt-HessⅢ-Ⅳscale group (234.00±11.292 ng/ml) was higher than the Hunt-Hess 1-Ⅱscale group (222.96±14.175 ng/ml) (p<0.05):3. the early serum concentration of slCAM-1 of the FisherⅢ-Ⅳscale group (234.43±10.823 ng/ml) was higher than the Fisher 1-11 scale group (219.62±13.336 ng/ml) (p<0.05):4. the early serum concentration of slCAM-1 of the GOS 1-3 score group (242.00±7.550 ng/ml) was higher than the GOS 4-5 score group (224.07±12.340 ng/ml) (p<0.05).Conclusion:The early serum concentration of slCAM-1 of the experimental group was higher than the control group. The early serum concentration of sICAM-1 may reflect the degree of clinical symptom and the volume of SAH. the more severe the symptom and the volume of SAH. the sICAM-1 values higher.the lower GOS score. It offers a potential prognostic value in the assessment of patients outcome after intracranial aneurismal rupture. |
