Clinical Study On Treating The Chronic Lower Urinary Tract Infection Of Elderly Diabetes With The Jianpitonglin Decoction

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of treating the chronic lower urinary tract infection of elderly patients with diabetes, with the Jianpitonglin Decoction used for deficiency of spleen qi and dampfen-heat in lower jiao.Methods:60 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group (30 cases, with Jianpitonglin Decoction for four weeks) and control group (30 cases,with Sanjin Decoction for four weeks). The changes of clinical symptoms and signs, the WBC in the urinary tract and blood glucose, residual urine volume were observed before and after treatmet. Results:The total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly above the control group.The rate of treatment group was93.3%,the control is 66.7%, there were significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). The effect of TCM symptoms, the total effective rate in treatment group was 66.3%,the control one was 93.3%,with significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). Both groups were significantly reduce the levels of patients urine and blood glucose, white blood cell count in treatment group than in control group, there was significant difference (P<0.05). The rate of two groups bacterial urinary was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Treatment group significantly reduced residual urine volume comparison,the was significantly difference (P<0.05) after treatment. The control group had no significant difference (P> 0.05)after treatment. Clinical trial period no obvious adverse reactions.Conclusion:Jian pi tong lin Decoction is effective in improving clinical symptoms and signs, reducing the number of white, urinary bladder, improving stability of residual sugar etc.It is an effective recipe of the safety and clinical curative effection.
