| Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Chinese herb lotion using in patients with Seborrheic dermatitis of scalp.Methods:A randomized control was carried out in 65 cases. We used Chinese herb lotion for the experimental group while using 2%ketoconazole Shampoo for the control group. We evaluated the symptoms and physical, symptoms of two groups at pre-treatment and post-treatment respectively and recorded the side effect. One month after finishing the treatment, we revisited and recorded recurrence rate. Then we compared the disease index, clinical effect, side effect and recurrence between the two groups.Result:The cure and the effective rate in the experimental group is 71.43%; the one in the control group is 73.33%. The total effective rate between the two groups have no significant difference (P> 0.05). However, the experimental group outnumbered the control group in reducing recurrence rate and the symptoms of erythema and pruritus (P<0.05).Conclusion:The prescription of the Chinese herb lotion has prominent clinical efficacy and little side effect in treating Seborrheic dermatitis of scalp. It has a certain reference value to the treatment for Seborrheic dermatitis of scalp. So it is worth further studying. |
