Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of blood-activating and stasis-dissolving Traditional Chinese patent drugs, as Danhong Injection, Honghua Injection, Shuxuetong Injection, for unstable angina pectoris of coronary artery disease with different syndrome differentiation in a prospective study.Method:Patients were recruited from inpatient department of Cardiology, Teaching Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM.92 patients meeting the inclusion were randomized allocated into 3 groups, respectively conventional treatment with Danhong Injection (n=32), conventional treatment with honghua Injection (n=30), conventional treatment with Shuxuetong Injection (n=30). The treatment session was 2 weeks, and the outcome assessments were symptom index and responding biomedical results.Results:1 there was no difference between groups in improvement rat and over responding rat, which indicated all the 3 groups were effective. 2 For A and C groups, significant differences was detected between syndrome of blood-stasis and turbid-phlegm-obstruction or qi-stagnation, in improvement rat and over responding rat (p<0.05), while there was no differences between turbid-phlegm-obstruction and qi-stagnation. It indicates A and C groups were more effective for blood-stasis syndrome of unstable angina pectoris. 3 For B and C groups, significant differences was detected between syndrome of blood-stasis and turbid-phlegm-obstruction or qi-stagnation, in improvement rat and over responding rat (p<0.05), while there was no differences between turbid-phlegm-obstruction and qi-stagnation. It indicates B and C groups were more effective for blood-stasis syndrome of unstable angina pectoris. 4 there was no significant difference between 3 groups in improvement of ECG and myocardial injury markers(p>0.05).Inclusion:1 There is no difference between Danhong Injection, Honghua Injection, Shuxuetong Injection in unstable angina pectoris treatment.2 Danhong Injection and Shuxuetong Injection have superior effect on blood-stasis syndrome of unstable angina pectoris. 3 Honghua Injection and Shuxuetong Injection have superior effect on blood-stasis syndrome of unstable angina pectoris over the syndrome of turbid phlegm-obstruction and qi stagnation.4 Danhong Injection, Honghua Injection, Shuxuetong Injection have the same effect for improvement of ECG and myocardial injury markers.5 The blood-activating and stasis-dissolving Traditional Chinese patent drugs have superior effect on blood-stasis syndrome of unstable angina pectoris over the syndrome of turbid phlegm-obstruction and qi stagnation.
