| This study on the ultra-fine and fine of Rhodiola rosea, Astragalus membranaceus and Radix Angelicae sinensis powder involved their histomorphology, extractability and Pharmacodynamics. The results provided the fundamental information for the application of super-fine crushing technique (SFCT) to the traditional Chinese medicinal herb and develop new methods to evaluate the effect of SFCT on drug.The three traditional Chinese medicinal herbs powder produces were examined under light microscope (LM), as well as scanning electron microscope (SEM) to compare their histomorphology, particle size, porosity and specific surface area. The results showed that the histological particles in the ultra-fine were spherical in shape, smaller and more uniform in size than its fine powder counterpart. The dissolution of Rhodiola rosea prepared by different techniques were investigated by dialysis determining gallic acid, salidroside and catechin as the test marker. These markers were determined at different time by RP-HPLC. The speed and degree of dissolution of salidroside and catechin were improved in super-fine than those in crude powder after a certain time,but the difference of the gallic acid dissolution in the two kinds of powder were not obvious. The pharmacodynamics of as between Rhodiola rosea super-fine and crude powder were compared after single oral administration of the same isodoes in mice. Both the dissolution of effect component in Rhodiola rosea and the effect of Rhodiola rosea can be improved by SFCT. To determine the contents of calycosin and formononetin in Astragalus membranaceus and ferulic acid in Radix Angelicae sinensis by many different methods. The SFCT can significantly improve the dissolution of the chemical constituents.By addition of sweetener, acidifier and maltodextrin with the orthogonal experimental design, the super fine Rhodiola rosea, Astragalus membranaceus and Radix Angelicae sinensis powder was made into tablets with an optimized formulation. The tablets were found to Avoid drugs liver with first short time after effects, role, the living creature exploitation degree is higher characteristic, greatly enhance the efficacy of a drug. |
