[Objective]To guide clinical practice via preliminary exploration of distribution characteristics between common clinical manifestations of polycystic ovarian syndrome and its common TCM constitution type. Making the treatment of this disease combined with regulate TCM constitution type to achieve the purpose that to prevent illness before suffered from disease and to prevent transportation when suffered from disease.[Methods]Collect 132 cases according to the diagnostic standard of PCOS from March 2010 to December 2010 in traditional Chinese medicine hospital of Sichuan Province and Commbine Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital of Sichuan Province and second affiliated hospital of Chengdu university of traditional Chinese medicine of Sichuan Province, filling in related questionnaire, analyzing data with spss13.0 statistical analyze software.[Results]1.The frequency rates of common clinical manifestations and type of TCM constitution of this group are as follows:first,62 cases suffered from Infertility (83.8% occupies fertility requirement),110 cases suffered from Delayed menstrual cycle (83.3%),57 cases suffered from Acne (43.2%),51 cases suffered from Overweight and Obesity (38.6%); second,37 cases were phlegmatic constitution (28.0%); 25 cases were constitutions of Qi stagnation (18.9%);23 cases were constitutions of Yang deficiency (17.4%); 18 cases were constitutions of Yin deficiency (13.6%); 14 cases were constitutions of dampness and heat (10.6%); 11 cases were constitutions of Qi deficiency (8.3%); 4 cases were constitutions of blood stagnation (3.0%);2.The patients distribution of TCM type of constitution about clinical manifestations are as follows:there were23 cases (37.1%) belong to constitution of phlegmatic,10 cases (16.1%) belong to constitution of Qi stagnation,10 cases (16.1%) belong to constitution of Yang deficiency, constitution of Yin deficiency were 10 cases (16.1%),2 cases (3.2%) belong to constitution of dampness and heat,4 cases(6.5%) belong to constitution of Qi deficiency,3 cases (4.8%) belong to constitution of blood stagnation in Infertility; there were 30 cases (27.3%) belong to constitution of phlegmatic.24 cases (21.8%) belong to constitution of Qi stagnation, 17 cases(15.5%) belong to constitution of Yang deficiency,15 cases (13.6%) belong to constitution of Yin deficiency,12 cases (10.9%) belong to constitution of dampness and heat,8 cases (7.3%) belong to constitution of Qi deficiency,2 cases (3.5%) belong to constitution of blood stagnation in Delayed menstrual cycle; there were 16 cases (28.1%) belong to constitution of phlegmatic,10 cases (17.5%) belong to constitution of Qi stagnation,8 cases (14.0%) belong to constitution of Yang deficiency,9 cases(15.8%) belong to constitution of Yin deficiency,9 cases (15.8%) belong to constitution of dampness and heat,3 cases (5.3%) belong to constitution of Qi deficiency,2 cases (3.5%) belong to constitution of blood stagnation in Ance; there were 33 cases (64.7%) belong to constitution of phlegmatic,5 cases (9.8%) belong to constitution of Qi stagnation,8 cases (15.7%) belong to constitution of Yang deficiency,1 cases (2.0%)belong to constitution of Yin deficiency,0 cases (0.0%) belong to constitution of dampness and heat,3 cases (5.9%) belong to constitution of Qi deficiency,1 cases (2.0%) belong to constitution of blood stagnation in Overweight and Obesity:3. This group of patients in different clinical manifestations are as follows:there were respectively 6.5%,7.3%,5.3%,5.9% suffered from Infertility and Delayed menstrual cycle and Acne and Overweight and Obesity belong to constitution of Qi deficiency; there were respectively 16.1%,15.5%,14.0%,15.7% suffered from Infertility and Delayed menstrual cycle and Acne and Overweight and Obesity belong to constitution of Yang deficiency; there were respectively 16.1%,13.6%,15.8%,2.0% suffered from Infertility and Delayed menstrual cycle and Acne and Overweight and Obesity belong to constitution of Yin deficiency; there were respectively 37.1%,27.3%,28.1%,64.7% suffered from Infertility and Delayed menstrual cycle and Acne and Overweight and Obesity belong to constitution of phlegmatic:there were respectively 3.2%,10.9%,15.8%,0.0% suffered from Infertility and Delayed menstrual cycle and Acne and Overweight and Obesity belong to constitution of dampness and heat; there were respectively 4.8%,3.6%,3.5%,2.0% suffered from Infertility and Delayed menstrual cycle and Acne and Overweight and Obesity belong to constitution of blood stagnation; there were respectively 16.1%,21.8%,17.5%,9.8% suffered from Infertility and Delayed menstrual cycle and acne and Overweight and Obesity belong to constitution of Qi stagnation.[Conclusion]1.The most common clinical manifestations of Polycystic ovarian syndrome is Delayed menstrual cycle and Infertility, then the second common ones are Acne and Overweight and Obesity; phlegmatic constitution is the most Common TCM type of constitutions, second one is QI stagnation and Yang deficiency;2.The distribution characteristics between common clinical manifestations of polycystic ovary syndrome and its TCM constitution types is as follows:First the most common clinical manifestations are Infertility, Delayed menstrual cycle, Acne and Overweight and Obesity;secondly, Overweight and Obesity is the most common manifestations in constitution of phlegm, Delayed menstrual cycle is the most common manifestations in constitution of stagnation of Qi; Infertility is the most common manifestations in constitution of Yang deficiency;3.The treatment and prevention of PCOS should attach importance to TCM constitution types and combine with body regulating treatment.
