Clinical Analysis Of The Acupuncture Combined Bobath Trerapy Of Cerebral Palsy Children

Object:To make a comparative study on the clinical efficacy of Acupuncture combined with Bobath therapy and Bobath therapy on the cerebral palsy children.Methods:60 cases of spastic cerebral palsy children were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group and control group with 30 children per group. The treatment group received a therapy of acupuncture combined with Bobath, and the control group with Bobath only for 3 months.The both group were received the same normal rehabilitation training.The gross motor function measure(GMFM),Synthetically function estimation of the cerebral palsy children scale and Modified Ashworth Scale were used to evaluate the children's function after 3 months.Result: 1. Pre-therapy there is no difference of the GMFM between the two group s(p>0.05). There's an improvement in GMFM compared with itself respectively (p<0.05) and between the Acupuncture group and the control group (p<0.01).2. Pre-therapy there is no difference of the Synthetically function estimation between the two groups(p>0.05). There's an improvement in Synthetically function estimation compared with itself respectively (p<0.05) and between the Acupuncture group and the control group (p <0.01). Both groups can improve Synthetically function.3. Pre-therapy there is no difference of the Modified Ashworth Scale between the two groups(p>0.05). There's an improvement in Modified Ashworth Scale compared with itself respectively (p<0.01 or p<0.05), and between the Acupuncture group and the control group (p<0.05). Both groups can improve spastic.4. The total effective rate by CP Comprehensive Assessment Scale in Acupuncture group 93%,control group 60%.The improvement in the Acupuncture group are higher than the control group(p<0.05).5. The improvement in spasm by Modified Ashworth Scale in Acupuncture group 83.3%,control group 50%.The improvement in the Acupuncture group are higher than the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion: 1.There is good effectiveness of cerebral palsy children by Bobath therapy.2. The acupuncture combined with Bobath therapy can improve the comprehensive abilities of the cerebral palsy children.3. The acupuncture combined with Bobath therapy can improve the paralysis of the cerebral palsy children and can be recommended in clinics.
