| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of scalp acupuncture combined with wax therapy on motor function of children with spastic diplegia, and to provide new ideas and methods for clinical treatment of children with spastic diplegia. Methods:This research selected children treated in the Children’s Rehabilitation Department of Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2017 to March 2019.The 100 children who met the inclusion criteria were divided into a scalp acupuncture and wax therapy rehabilitation group using a random number table method, with 50 cases in each group.During the treatment,3 cases were removed and removed from the scalp acupuncture and wax therapy rehabilitation group, and 4 cases were removed and removed from the rehabilitation group.Finally,47 cases were included in the scalp acupuncture and wax therapy rehabilitation group and 46 cases were included in the rehabilitation group. In the rehabilitation group, exercise therapy, exercise training, massage therapy, spasmodic muscle low-frequency therapy instrument and rehabilitation nursing were used.On the basis of the rehabilitation group, scalp acupuncture and wax therapy were used. The two groups were treated for 5 days in a row with an interval of 2days,20 times per course, and 6 courses of rehabilitation. Before and after treatment, children’s motor function was assessed using the Gross Motor Function Measure Scale(GMFM),the Modified Ashworth Scale(MAS),and the Activities Of Daily Living(ADL)Assessment Scale. Results:There was no significant difference in the age, gender, gross motor function score, bilateral lower extremity muscle tension score, and daily life activity score of the children in the acupuncture wax treatment group and the rehabilitation group before treatment(P>0.05).After 6 courses of treatment, the two groups were compared within the group. After treatment, the gross motor function score and daily living ability score were increased, and the lower extremity muscle tension score was lower than before, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 courses of treatment, the two groups were compared between groups. The gross motor function score and daily living ability score of the scalp acupuncture and wax therapy rehabilitation group were higher than those of the rehabilitation group, and the lower extremity muscle tension score was lower than the rehabilitation group(P<0.05).The curative effect of the scalp acupuncture and wax therapy rehabilitation group was more obvious than that of rehabilitation group. Conclusion:Scalp acupuncture combined with wax therapy rehabilitation mode and simple rehabilitation training can improve the children’s gross motor function, reduce the muscle tension of both legs, improve the ability of daily life and improve the motor function. The therapeutic effect of scalp acupuncture combined with wax therapy rehabilitation model is more obvious than that of simple rehabilitation training, and the clinical operation is safe and easy, which is worth popularizing. |
