ObjectivesThis research focuses on the patient's major existing symptoms and syndrome and the correlation with relevant lab, and then provides foundation of syndrome for Chinese medicine dialectical differentiation, makes Chinese medicine more useful for extending life for the maintenance hemodialysis patients, improves their quality of life, provides powerful medical foundation to promote their social regression.MethodsThe research takes the currently maintenance hemodialysis patients of Guangdong traditional Chinese medicine hospital as the research object and uses cross-sectional survey in experimental design.211 cases were incorporated into effective cases which maintain the original subjects for the scheme treatment. Refer to the CRF syndrome diagnostic standard and symptoms grading quantitative table of (the Chinese herbal medicine clinical research guiding principle) promulgated by the state drug administration in 2002, set quantitative syndromes questionnaire. The generally material is needed too, including the patient's generally (gender, age, original disease, maintain hemodialysis time and frequency, etc.), and the patient's laboratory related material (such as Hb,Alb,Kt/V). The collected data is established to a database by the SPSS18.0 statistical software for analysis. Statistical methods:Measurement data is presented by X士s, while counting material using X2 inspection. The differences have statistical significance (P<0.05).Result1.Maintenance hemodialysis patients were mainly constituted by middle-aged people, but no difference between male and female. its original diseases are chronic nephritis(about 75 patients,35.5%), high blood pressure (about 56 patients,26.5%) and diabetes primarily (about 56 patients,20.9%) 2. In cases with deficiency syndrome undertaking maintenance hemodialysis, weakness(79.1%), lack of words and being discouraged(63.5%), anorexia (40.3%), soreness of loins and knees(45.5%), coldness of limbs(35.5%), dry mouth and throat (64.5%) were the most common deficiency syndromes. In cases with Sthenic Syndrome undertaking maintenance hemodialysis, dim complexion (54.0%), tetany (40.3%), squamous and dry skin (64.9%) were the most common Sthenic syndromes. Lake light tongue, red tongue, Thin-white fur, white-greasy fur, Slippery-stringy pulse, deep-thready pulse were the most common tongue and pulse manifestation.3. Deficiency of both spleen and kidney was the most common deficiency syndrome (41.7%), followed by Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency(19.9%), the deficiency of both qi and yin (19.4%), the deficiency of yin and yang (12.3%) and liver-kidney yin deficiency(6.6%). In cases with pathogenic factors prevailing undertaking this measure, wind stirring inside was the most common excess syndrome (about 32.2%), followed by blood stasis (31.3%), water (24.2%), dampness turbidity(20.4%), dampness heat(2.4%). Most patients have intermingled deficiency and excess with 160 cases(75.8%).4. Maintenance hemodialysis patients'gender, age, maintain dialysis time, the original onset, anemia, hypoalbuminemia, Kt/V was not statistically significant with the distribution of syndromes. (P>0.05).ConclusionThe research point out the deficiency of spleen and kidney and the complexity of deficiency and excess are the main mechanisms in hemodialysis patients。In cases with weakened body resistance undertaking maintenance hemodialysis, the deficiency of both qi and yin and the qi deficiency of both spleen and kidney were the most common deficiency syndromes. In cases with pathogenic factors prevailing undertaking this measure, wind stirring inside, blood stasis and water were the most common excess syndromes. this investigation can only express TCM syndromes distribution for maintenance hemodialysis patients of our hospital due to small cases. The standard TCM syndromes distribution for maintenance hemodialysis can be established by the research which refer to a Large sample and many regions. Maintenance hemodialysis patients'gender, age, maintain dialysis time, the original onset, anemia, hypoalbuminemia, Kt/V was not relativity significant with the distribution of syndromes.
