Objective:Get a comprehensive understanding for IQ of Yugu, Dongxiang area's children aged 7-13, get more information for calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper levels and antioxidant capacity. probe factors for Yugu, Dongxiang IQ level of children 7-13 years,make comprehensive analysis, make recommendations and improvements, provide a scientific basis for related research.Method:Use cluster random sampling method, collected children aged 7-13 in Sunan Zhangye City, and Linxia Nationality Autonomous Region Gansu Province, as part of the study, collect basic information, Do IQ (intelligence quotient,) test by Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices, taken some children's blood samples to do biochemical detection. By statistical analysis between biochemical test results and IQ, probe the factors that may affect children's IQ.1 IQ measurement methods:the test pattern in accordance with the procedures of Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices, the results with the IQ (IQ) values (±S) to represent.2 Serum calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper levels were measured:Beijing Bo Hui, BH 5100 five-channel atomic absorption spectrometry detection. According to kit instruction manual, determination of serum T-SOD, CuZn-SOD, MDA, T-AOC, VC and other antioxidant indicators.Results:Children in Yugu region surveyed a total of 293, IQ level was 106.26±14.10, close to the middle level group (90-109). IQ, respectively, classify by gender, age, nationality, place of birth for urban and rural groups, statistical analysis showed that:male, non-Yugu children's IQ is higher than urban women, Yugu, rural children, the difference was statistically significant. Rural and urban, also non-Yugur and Yugur children's five elements of blood level have no statistical significance. However, different intellectual levels with zinc has statistically significant. Dongxiang area, investigate a total of 183 children, all are Dongxiang, rural children. Average IQ was 77.88±17.02.The level below the crowd (90-109). Boys' IQ is higher than girls, the difference was statistically significant. The men and women with high and low IQ was not statistically related to the five elements.Yugu, Dongxiang children's calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper test display; both close to the population average. Two regions T-SOD, CuZn-SOD, MDA, T-AOC, VC test results showed that:In addition to T-AOC was no significant difference, other indicators have significant differences, Yugu VC is higher, the other is low. Comparative analysis revealed that six years: most of the antioxidant index were decreased.Conclusion:Do factors regression, Yugur and non Yugu, urban and rural areas have significant difference in children's intelligence, urban-rural divide is particularly significant. The rural and urban children Serum calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper content was not found statistically significant difference, but the intellectual and the level of zinc intake were statistically related. Suggest social factors associated with children's intelligence greater. Difference between urban and rural areas is particularly significant. Children's IQ level associated with family and social factors higher, but with changes in specific biochemical indicators is not obvious.
