| ObjectiveTo investigate clinical effect of four manipulations to Lumbar Disc Herniation. The four massage manipulations are plucking-stretching, oblique-pulling, lateral-pulling, posterior extension pulling. Two groups are setting in this experiment. Through experimental group and control group, to investigate clinical effect of the two groups of treatments of Lumbar Disc Herniation six weeks and follow-up of 3 months.Methods90 Lumbar Disc Herniation patients which are non-operation are selected, 45 inpatients and 45 outpatients. Divided randomly and Patients medical order into two groups, treatment group and control group have 45 patients in each group.Besides lumbar traction and pharmacotherapy, four massage manipulations are given to the treatment group. The control group only have lumbar traction and pharmacotherapy. Two groups of Lumbar Disc Herniation patients respectively on before treatment, treatment 6 weeks and follow-up after 3 months, using JOA low back pain score, then collect the relevant data. The data is analysised and summarized via 12.0 statistical software.ResultsThe control group in 45 cases with Lumbar Disc Herniation after six weeks treatment, 11.11% with healing effect, 37.78% with marked effect. the average improvement rate was 76.63% , effectively percentage accounted for 46.67 %,the average improvement rate was 46.23%, Invalid percentage accounted for 4.44%, the average improvement rate was 16%. Follow-up of 3 months after, 22.23% with healing effect, 33.33% with marked effect. the average improvement rate was 88.20% , effectively percentage accounted for 42.22 %,the average improvement rate was 53.33%, Invalid percentage accounted for 2.22%, the average improvement rate was 18%.The treatment group in 45 cases with Lumbar Disc Herniation after six weeks treatment, 24.44% with healing effect, 48.89% with marked effect. the average improvement rate was 87.84% , effectively percentage accounted for 26.67 %,the average improvement rate was 52.41%, invalid 0. Follow-up of 3 months after, 40.00% with healing effect, 44.44% with marked effect. the average improvement rate was 96.73%,effectively percentage accounted for 15.56 %,the average improvement rate was 56.79%, invalid 0.After six weeks in experimental group and control group observation, the clinical curative effect of two groups was statistically significant differences exist, P < 0.05 (P = 0.042); Follow-up of 3 months, experimental and control group two groups of clinical curative effect was significant difference, a statistically significant, P < 0.05(P = 0.017).we can think experimental group than in the control groups.ConclusionThe study shows that the clinical effect of treatment group is more improved than that in control group. four massage manipulations combined with lumbar traction and pharmacotherapy and none of the patients in the the treatment group have side-effet and complications. When patients with lumbar disc herniation treated with non-operative therapy . Besides lumbar traction and pharmacotherapy, it is necessary to go with manipulations.Lumbar Disc Herniation patients will have better curative effect with reasonable manipulations at the right moment. |
