| Objective: To investigate the factors influenced dynamic radionuclide renal imaging measurement of glomerular filtration rate (GFR),especially the reason and the solutions of radioactive retention caused overestimation of GFR. Methods: In the course of GFR determination, the imaging agent injection for the quality and selection of the background ROI which are two common factors are observed the effects on the basis of the standard operation; on the risk of renal retention of radionuclides were used to the whole kidney ROI outline methods and treatment of renal cortical ROI outline to compare two methods of GFR measurement accuracy. Results: The choice of the location of the end of GFR ROI impact; "shot" injection of quality will directly affect the renal blood flow and consistency of patient's condition, only the high quality of the "shot" is a prerequisite to obtain the true GFR; when the radioactive retention factors outlined the use of the whole kidney ROI method may overestimate the renal function, using the method outlined in renal cortex ROI can get the true and accurate GFR values. Conclusion: Renal dynamic imaging analyzing results of GFR may be affected by several factors, of which special consideration should be the quality of imaging agent injection and the choice of the background ROI, and the ROI of radionuclide retention and detention areas outlined deduction, which affect GFR value apparently. Therefore, further improvement of determination and standardization of operational processes is important to obtain accurate results GFR guarantees. |
