| Objective:To investigate the relationship among HbA1c concentrations, cerebral infarction and other established cardiovascular risk factors in patients with cerebral infarction.we detect HbA1c concentrations in the group of people. To explore the value of HbA1c among cerebral infarction, disease severity and prognosis. Our aim is to find its importance for predicting cerebral infarction.Early interference of risk factors of cerebral infarction might prevent the development of CI,so as to decrease the morbidity rate, mortality rate and deformity rate.Methods:97 patients who were diagnosed cerebral infarction within one week after the attack were selected from the Department of Neurology of affiliated hospital of North China Coal Medical Collage between September 2007 and September 2008,95 healthy subjects were selected as contral group at the same time. All CI patients are of the first onset. The CI patients were further divided into subgroups according to the neurological deficit scores, infarction area and prognosis. We measured HbA1c concentrations, high sensitivity C–reactive protein, fasting blood glucose, blood lipids series, fibrinogen, hemoglobin, red blood cell, white blood cell in subjects' serum samples ,and collectted prior medical histories including hypertensionand, smoking status, drinking history and so on.Graduate student fell in an investigation form including above contents. Date was put into Excel of the computer, staticsed by t-test,X~2-test and analysis of variance in the SPSS 13.0 software. Every index was compared statistically between the subgroups,CI group and the control group to study the correlation between HbA1c concentrations and CI , other established cardiovascular risk factors. The relation of factors and CI was staticsed by multiple Logistic regression analysis. Pearson correlation analysis was used between HbA1c and others.Results:1.The age, sex, hypertensionand, smoking status, drinking history,BMI, FBG,RBC,Hb and WBC have no statistical significance compared with CI group and the control group ( P>0.05).2.HbA1c concentrations,hsCRP,TC,TG,LDL,APOB and FIB in the patients of the CI group are significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).3. Compared with control group , HbA1c concentrations and hsCRP are higher in the mild, moderate and sever group. They tend to elevate with severity of the disease (P<0.01).4. The level of HbA1c concentrations and hsCRP increased significantly in CI group compared with control group, furthermore, it was positive correlation with the area of cerebral infarction(P<0.01).5.The higher the level of HbA1c and hsCRP ,the worse the prognosis(P<0.01),but between improvement group and no change group, worsening group and death group, they are no obvious differences(P>0.05).6. Multiple Logistic regression analysis shows that HbA1c,hsCRP,TC,TG,LDL concentrations were positive correlation with acute cerebral infarction.7. HbA1c concentrations is positive correlation with hsCRP, FBG, TG, FIB and negative with HDL, no correlation with The age, sex, hypertensionand, smoking status, drinking history, TC , LDL, ApoA.Conclusion:1.HbA1c is one of the possible risk factors of acute cerebral infarction .2.In the cerebral infarction patients who have higher HbA1c , the sick condition is more serious and the prognsis is worse.3. HbA1c has a positive correlation with hsCRP,FBG,TG,FIB and negative correlation with HDL. |
