| Physalis pubescens L. is one kind of Physalis alkekengi L. Its main producing areas are Hulunbeier League in Inner Mongolia and Greater and Small Higgnan Mountains in Heilongjiang province in China. It has both the edible and medicinal value. Its fruit is bundled by persistent calyx and can be edible after being stripped. The ripe fruit is yellow and tastes sweet and sour and very rich in nutrition. This experiment concerns on the immunocompetence in the Physalis pubescens L. The basic conclusions are as follows:1. The effects of different parts of the Physalis pubescens L. (Pp) on the immunocompetence were investigated in Kunming mice inbred lines. The mice were sacrificed to evaluate the immunologic function through the relative weights of spleen and thymus, the DTH (delayed type hypersensitivity), carbon particl clearance test, serum agglutination test. The pulp of Pp had statically significant effect on the mice's nonspecific immunity (p<0.05), but not on the weight of the mice's thymus. The Pp's pulp, peel and seeds had significant effect on the mice's cellular immunity respectively; they had regulating effect on the mice's T-lympHocytes. Any part of Pp didn't have statically significant effect on the mice's humoral immunity. The pulp of the Physalis pubescens L. has the most and steadily significant influence on effect on the mice's immunity. So the pulp of the Physalis pubescens L. was extracted differently by water and alcohol. The extractions were evaluated the immunologic function by the T-lymphopoiesis experiment of spleen, B-lymphopoiesis experiment of spleen. And the alcohol extraction has more significant influence on the mice's immunity2. The mice were divided into seventeen groups:normal/immunodeficiency/water extraction at high, middle, low dosage/20% alcohol extraction at high, middle, low dosage/40% alcohol extraction at high, middle, low dosage/60% alcohol extraction at high, middle, low dosage/80% alcohol extraction at high, middle, low dosage. Then the mice were sacrificed to the pulp of the Physalis pubescens L.through the relative weights of spleen and thymus, the DTH (delayed type hypersensitivity), carbon particl clearance test, serum agglutination test. Above all, the alcohol 40% extraction has the most significant influence on effect on the mice's immunity, the water extraction works less but still significantly.3. The alcohol 40% extraction and the water extraction both were separated by the macroporous resin AB-8 and eluted by 0.5 M NaCl/distilled water. The collection was dialyzed by the percolating water and lyophilized after the concentration. Then the different four parts were evaluated the immunologic function through the T-lymphopoiesis experiment of spleen, B-lymphopoiesis experiment of spleen and the stimulation of activity on the rate's macrophage. The alcohol 40% extraction eluted by 0.5 M NaCl has the most significant influence on effect on the mice's immunity, the alcohol 40% extraction eluted by distilled water and the water extraction eluted by 0.5 M NaCl works less but still sigificntly.The best part of Pp on immunity was separated as follows:The pulp of the Pp. got from the raw material extracted with the 40% alchol at the (ma:vb) 1:20 for 2h at 60℃. The extraction was concentrated after sucking filtration, and 30ml of it was diluted to 60ml, which went through the macroporous resin AB-8(3cm×24cm) until the clear effluent liquid appeared; the eluating was got by 250ml0.5M NaCl; dialysised for 48h with percolating water; lyophilizedfished after concentration. |
