To Observe The Correlation Between Distribution And Changes Of Peritoneal Transport Function And TCM Differentiation Of Symptoms And Signs

Objective:To explore the correlation between distribution and changes of peritoneal transport function of end—stage renal disease (ESRD) patients and traditional chinese medicine (TCM) differentiation of symptoms and signs;To explore the occasion of perironeal equilibration test (PET) of peritoneal dialysis patients.Methods:To differentiate 98 cases with the initial peritoneal dialysis catheter placement and peritoneal dialysis treatment,to analyze the correlation between peritoneal transport function and TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs;40 cases of them examined the PET after 1 week,1 month,3 month of peritoneal dialysis and observed changes of peritoneal transport function.Results:1. The most TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs of ESRD patients is deficiency of spleen Qi,followed by deficiency of spleen and kidney Yang, and the least is deficiency of liver and kidney Yin before undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis replacement treatment;The accompanying syndroms of damp and damp-turbidity are more than these of damp-heat,blood-stasis and wind-driven.2. The TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs didnt change significantly after continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis replacement treatment; The accompanying syndroms of damp and damp-turbidity significantly reduced, blood-stasis increased significantly compared with these before dialysis and even emerged cases with no obvious accompanying syndroms.These had statistical significance.3. The symptom integral of ESRD patients was significantly decreased after dialysis with statistical significance; We obtained the same results through grouped comparison according to peritoneal transport function.4. The TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs before the peritoneal dialysis catheter placement and peritoneal dialysis treatment had a certain correlation with the peritoneal transport function after 1 month dialysis:The patients with deficiency of Yin and Yang were prone to low transport (L) and they are not suitable for peritoneal dialysis. 5.The peritoneal transport function had not significant changes after 1 week,1 month or 3 months dialysis in peritoneal dialysis patients.Conclusion:1. The TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs has a certain correlation with the peritoneal transport function; The TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs can give a clue to judge peritoneal transport function.2. The PET after 1 week dialysis can basically reflect the peritoneal transport function; The peritoneal transport function is relatively stable in peritoneal dialysis patients without peritonitis and other complications in 3 months. The PET after 1 week dialysis not only help to understand peritoneal transport function, but also help to instruct individual dialysis programs as early as possible to meet clinical need.3. Peritoneal dialysis can significantly reduce the patients' symptom integral,improve biochemical indicators and quality of life; The patients of HA and LA are more pronounced.
