| Objective:Eucommia observed in ovariectomized rats with osteoporosis induced by experimental body weight, femur weight, bone mineral density, bone mineral ash and bone biomechanics, and to explore Eucommia the role of prevention and treatment of primary osteoporosis. Methods:Experimental use of this old female Wistar rats October 80.By completely randomized divided into four groups. Group sham (n=20), Group OVX(n=20),Group OVX+Alfacalcidol (n=20), GroupOVX+Eucommina (n=20). After drenched, Comparison of body weight, femur weight, bone mineral density, bone mineral ash and to compare the biomechanical indicators.Results:1,Body weight and femur weight:Compared with the sham group:Weight: Group OVX,Group OVX+Alfacalcidol,Group OVX+Eucommina to the body weight of rats significantly higher than Group sham (P<0.01), The bone weight of ovariectomized group decreased than sham group obviously (p<0.05), and Alfacalcidol Soft Capsules and Eucommia Bark did not influence the bone weight significantly (p>0.05)2,Bone mineral ash:Eucommia Bark increased bone-mine content (p<0.05),3,BMD:Group OVX bone mineral density was as significantly lower than that of Group sham (P<0.05),Group OVX+Alfacalcidol,Group OVX+Eucommina in BMD was not statistically significant than that of Group sham (p>0.05). Group OVX+Alfacalcidol,Group OVX+Eucommina in BMD was higher than that of Group OVX(P<0.05).4,bone biomechanics:Group OVX of bone biomechanics was as significantly lower than that of Group sham (P<0.05), Group OVX+Eucommina of bone biomechanics was superior to Group sham (P<0.01),and Group OVX+Eucommina of bone biomechanics was superior to Group OVX (P<0.05). meanwhile OVX+Alfacalcidol was no significant difference.Conclusion:1,The loss of bone mass in ovariectomized rats is more clear and the loss of bone mass is mainly organic ingredients 2,Alfacalcidol Tabbets and Eucommia all have significantly improved bone mineral density in the role of inhibiting bone resorptio.3,Eucommia can be good for the maintenance of ovariectomized rats bone biomechanics.4. Eucommia may have a role in the promotion of bone formation. |
