| Object:To understand HBV infection and viral genotype as well as serotype prevalence characteristic of the population in Suining area. To evaluate the effect after children vaccine immunization. To provide scientific supports for HBV control and prevention.Method:1. Samples:Multi-stage herd random sampling method was used and 1468 sera samples were collected from residents of aged 1-59 years old of Suining population in 6 counties with three groups of 1-4 years old,5-14 years old and 15-59 years old respectively.2. Sera marks detection:ELISA was applied to detect HBsAg, HBsAb and HBcAb. HBV DNA was extracted from the HBsAg positive samples followed by amplification of S region by nest-PCR and HBV genotype was determined by DNA sequencing methods.3. Statistics:SPSS13.0 software was used in statistic analysis after all information was entered into EpiData3.1 database.Result:1. Sera epidemiology characteristic of HBV infection in Suining area after standardization,HBsAg, HBsAb and HBcAb positive rates were 16.83%,43.71% and 77.83% respectively. The differences of HBsAg positive rates and HBV infectious rates between every age group were significant (x2 were 48.01,259.55, p<0.001); HBsAg positive rates between male and female of the population is significanty different (x2 was 11.14, p<0.05); HBsAg positive rates and HBV infectious rates of the population from different areas is significant (x2 were 33.56,60.17, p<0.01); HBsAg positive rates and HBV infectious rates of the population of different vocation also be significant (x2 were 36.32,235.73, p<0.001); HBsAg positive rates and HBV infectious rates of the population with different educational experience is the same situation (x2 were 37.95,123.31, p<0.001); HBsAg positive rates of the population born after 1992 were obviously lower than that of the population born before 1992 (x2 was 33.92, p<0.01). 2. Genotyping results of HBsAg positive samples:All 118 samples checked by PCRand DNA sequencing,40 of the samples shows genotype B (33.89%),73 samples of genotype C (61.86%),5 samples of genotype D (4.23%). Other genotypes were not found.3. Serotyping results:There were 42 samples of serotype adr (35.59%) and 76 samples of serotype adw(64.41%) in all 118 samples.Conclusion:1. HBV prevalence is still high in Suining area. HBV vaccine inoculation among children was proved effective and it had changed HBV epidemiologic feature in this area. However, the rate of low age group currently carrying HBsAg is still higher than the national average. 2. HBV genotypes were mainly B and C subtypes in Suining area and genotype C was dominant. Only few HBV of genotype D was identified. Serotype distribution was mainly adr/adw and adw was the dominant serotype. |
