Purpose:To observe the clinical curative effect of acupuncture combined with computer intermediate frequency in treating patients with acute sciatica, and afford an effective and feasible method and basis for treating sciatica.Method:Based on pre-experiment foundation of the earlier period,90 patients were chosed as the clinical case according to the acute sciatica diagnosis standard, and were divided into 3 groups according to the block stochastic principle, the observation group (acupuncture combined with computer intermediate frequency), group 1 (pure acupuncture group), group 2 (pureomputer intermediate frequency), each group had 30 cases, and each group of patients was measured by Symptom score index,BRS-6,McGill pain scale before and after the treatment. By the contrast of the grade of the patients symptom among three groups before and after treatment, we can discuss a new way to enhance the curative effect of acupuncture, and summarize the pain improvement by the treatment of acupuncture combined with computer intermediate frequency in treating patients with acute sciatica, and study the analgesia mechanism and prospect of the treatment of acupuncture combined with computer intermediate frequency in treating patients with acute sciatica, and build a solid foundation for the further research in the future.Result:(1)After treatment, clinical cure rate of the three groups are observation group (63.3%), group 1 (43.3%), group 2 (30.0%); The total effective rate are observation group (86.7%), group 1(63.3%), group 2 (60.0%);The observation group patients'the total effective rate of the observation group and group1 improved significantly than group2 (P< 0.05).(2) After treatment, the BRS-6 score of the three groups drop remarkable (P<0.01,P<0.05,P< 0.05); the total effective rate of the observation group and group1 improved significantly than group2 (P<0.05); but control group 1 and group 2 BRS-6 no significant difference in behavior score.(3) After treatment, the McGill score of the three groups drop remarkable (P<0.01,P< 0.05,P<0.05); the McGill score of the observation group improved significantly than group1 and group2 (P<0.05); but control group 1 and group 2 McGill Pain Questionnaire score showed no significant.Conclusion:(1)The treatment of acupuncture combined with computer intermediate frequency is superior in curative effect to that of acupuncture only or computer intermediate frequency only. So it implied:The acupuncture combined with computer intermediate frequency cooperated with each other well. (2) The acupuncture combined with computer intermediate frequency can improve the clinical symptoms, drop the BRS-6 score and the McGill score. So it imply:The acupuncture combined with computer intermediate frequency can improve pain threshold in patients with acute sciatica.
