| Objective: To study the value of neuroendoscopy assisted microneurosurgical technique in the treatment of cerebellopontine angle cholesteatoma. Methods:There are 10 cases in this group, The patients are all cerebellopontine angle cholesteatoma, they were performed operation with neuro-endoscopy assisted microneurosurgery. Resected the turmor with microneurosurgery, then under nuroendoscopy remain of turmors was found out and removed. Results: 8 of 10 cases, residual tumor were found under aneu-roendoscopy after routine microsurgery. Residual tumor were resceted by neuroend-oscopy. Total resected 9 cases, subtotal resected 1case. No aseptic meningitis, delayed intracranical hemorrhage and other complications occurred. Conclusions:The neuroendoscopy assisted microneurosurgery for cerebellopontine angle cholesteatoma can increase the total resection rate for tumors, the technique is helpful to increase the microneurosurgical treatment effect and decrease the operative complications. |
