Observing The Clinical Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine For Chronic Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura Belonging To The Patten Of Qi Asthenia And Blood Stasis

Objective:TO observe the clinical efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine of benefiting vital energy and activating blood circulation prescription for Chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(CITP) . Methods:67 patients with CITP conforming to the standard(according to the revised standard of the first Chinese association of haematology's academic conference of thrombus and hemosstasis,Dec.1986,Guide rule of traditional Chinese medicine for clinical research and Guide rule of internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine )were randomly grouped into treated group(involving 39 patients) with Traditional Chinese Medicine and controlled group treated with glucocorticoids (involving 28 patients).The treated group was given benefiting vital energy and activating blood circulation prescription.Respectively 4 weeks is a period of treatment.Total treatment lasted for 2 periods.Observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine as treated group and control group with glucocorticoids for Chronic idiopathic throm bocytopenic purpura belonging to the patten of qi asthenia and blood stasis,and the efficiency of each group was added up. Result:The response rate of treated group was 87.18%,and the rate of controled group was 82.14%,and did not make a meaning of statistics(P>0.05).There was improvement in the treatment of laking of power , short breathing ,lip lividity subcutaneous purpura and bleeding degree(P<0.05 ).The controled group did not make a statistics in the treatment of subcutaneous purpura and bleeding degree(P>0.05).The side effect such as rising of blood glucose ,Cushing face,water-sodium retention,pantothenic acid,electrolyte disturbances,allergy of glucocorticoids ect.in controlled group compared with the treated group made a statistics(P>0.05). Conclusions:There is a good clinical treatment effect of traditional Chinese medicine of benefiting vital energy and activating blood circulation prescription for the patten of qi asthenia and blood stasis to CITP and apparent whole clinical symptoms of the patients.The treatment is helpful for increasing the number of platelet count, decreasing the byproduct of western medicine,and stabilizing the disease.
