Creative personality is an integrated structure, which is the unity of intellectual factors and non-intellectual factors. Recently, there has been a resurgence of interest in the study of creative personality. The development of creative personality in early childhood plays an important role on the development of their creativity. This study focuses on the type tendency of creative personality aged 3~5 years old children. Designing different experimental tasks, we have invested the age characteristics and gender defferences of creative personality of preschool children, and its relationship with multiple intelligences. This will promote the theoretical basis and practical guidance for the development of preschool children.Through experiments, questionnaire and observation methods, we firstly selected 830 preschool children from Changchun, Tianjin, Chengdu, Dalian, Henan and Beijing to study the type tendency of creative personality. Meanwhile, by the situational observation, we designed peer sandplay in order to obtain qualitative analysis. Secondly, through laboratory experiments, we selected 109 children age 3~5 years old children to study the age characteristics and gender differences of creative personality. Thirdly, teachers accomplished the questionnaire of"3~5 year old children's creative personality of teachers accessed"and"multiple intelligences scale of preschool children".The results revealed that: (1) Preschool children's creative personality coule be divided into 4 type tendencies, which were cooperation, science, mixture and art. The proportions from high to low of boys and girls were different. Mixture and art relatively had large proportion, and science and cooperation had relatively low proportion. (2) There was a distinct age difference in the development of children's creative personality. With the development of age, the overall trend was increasing at first and then a slightly downward, and the 4 year old was the critical period. There was no significant gender difference in the development of children's creative personality. (3) There was closely relationship between children's multiple intelligences and creative personality. The correlation between cooperation and interpersonal intelligence was the highest, and science and body movements'intelligence had the maxmum correlation. The correlation between art and musical intelligence was the highest, and mixture and linguistic intelligence had the maxmum correlation.
