The "War of Attrition" between Egypt and Israel had great influence on the two belligerents in their economy, politics, military,society, diplomacy and other aspects in the 1967-1970. During the war,the Egyptian military power has been restored and enhanced,and the national morale and national self-confidence got promoted,all of which undoubtedly laid a solid foundation of strength and spirit for the next war. However,the war also had a significant negative impact to Egypt such the recession of economy, the bottlenecks of diplomatic strategy and so on,which caused further reflect and seek to change by the leaders of Egypt, then opened the door to future reforms in Egypt.In contrast, the "War of attrition" promoted the development of the economy, but in this war, Israel was not able to inhibit the artillery attack from Egypt, the military casualty rate than any time before the war in the Middle East. In addition, the "War of Attrition" had exacerbated the internal conflict of the Israeli politics which were originally existed. Even so, Israel stood still and continued immersed the opinionated victory. On the one hand, they were busy with consolidating the results of the war by reinforced a line of defense. On the other hand,they pushed for too much, caused strategic mistake, and broke the US-Soviet balance of power in the Middle East.On the whole,although the war was not not a qualitative change in the event which caused changes in the strategic situation on both sides. It provided a the most important quantitative preparation through making strategic planning, military arrangements and mental preparation, etc.
