The high school stage is the important and changeable key period for individual growth. The development of high school students'physiology and psychology is imbalanced intensely, they are easy to be influenced by external factors and are prone to behavior. The suicidal behavior begins in Junior high school stage, and high school stage shows a growing trend. Social Problem-Solving was defined as the self-directed cognitive-behavioral process by which a person attempts to identify or discover adaptive ways of coping with problematic situations encountered in everyday living. So social problem-solving deals with all types of problems in everyday living. Previous studies found that there was close contact among suicidal ideatio,social problem-solving and general self-efficacy. The social problem-Solving is ability is a significant predictor of Suicide ideation.Positive and Negative Suicide Ideation(PANSI)was modified and revised on the basis of literature analysis and interview in this thesis. The reliability and validity were explored by reliability analysis, item analysis and CFA. Using the questionnaire method, selecting two group students as subjects from some normal high schools. The experiment group are students who have suicide ideation, the controlled group is normal high school students. This thesis wants to the different characteristics of social problem-solving between the two groups, the other purpose is to investigate the relationship among Suicide ideation,social problem-solving and general self-efficacy. The results shows:First, in the problem situations, the experimental group have less active problem-solving strategies than the controlled group, and the number of negative problem-solving strategies are more than the controlled group.Second, there is a significant difference between the two groups in the quality of social problem-solving. the experimental group is lower than the controlled group.Third, the correlation analysis shows that Suicide ideation and general self-efficacy, social problem solving was a significant negative correlation.Fourth, high school students'ability of social problem-solving has mediating effect between the Suicide ideation and the general self-efficacy, that is to say the general self-efficacy influences the Suicide ideation through social problem-solving.
