Inter-social Information Design-Study On Multilingual Typographic Design

In our age, everything becomes interlinked worldwide. In no other age known to man before, the possibilities and attempts of exchange between nationalities and cultures has been greater than today. Two important aspects in this development are the Internet and globalist economy. The financial crisis of 2008 shows us how much intertwined the different parts of the world already The closer connections between cultures, result in the mixing of cultures and therefore in the mixing of languages.When I go out to the streets of Beijing, I see not only Hanzi, and I not only see latin characters, but also korean characters, japanese characters, arabian script, cyrillic letters, sometimes even mongolian or tibetan script.This is an ideal state if we bring together different writing systems while sustaining their uniqueness and character, to express respect to those who identify with them via their culture.An important objective of this paper is in Hanzi and Latin letter in the coexistence state, able to express the same meaning when showing a state of harmony and unity.The first chapter describes the reason topics, significance and made for some of the topics I study at home and abroad. The Second chapter focuses on the design of the characters in Chinese text design. From four aspects: the origin of Chinese characters, Chinese characters of the structure, and writing Chinese characters Chinese characters design. The Third chapter focuses on the design of the Western Latin text font design. Divided into three components: the development process of the Latin alphabet, Latin alphabet Latin alphabet for writing and design history of fonts and font classification.
