The Quran is the central religious verbal text of Islam. It is believed to be the verbal book of divine guidance and direction for mankind. With the background of Arab society in the seventh century, Quran covers all aspects of social life and provides the basic outlook on the world and life to Muslims. It became the source of social morality and law in Islamic world. Quran contains a unique concept of philosophy and education, which made a great impact on women education and promotes the women education to a new stage.The paper is divided into four parts:The first part elaborates the background of women's educational thought of Quran and its main content. The complicated contradiction in Arabian Peninsula forced the born of a new religion which can reform and reunify the Arabia world. Therefore, Quran was created as a revelation of God after Muhammad's special experience. It provides settlements of all kinds of problems concrete rules and directs in social life and for Muslims as a religion guide. It made a new order for Arabia in both moral and legal areas.The second part discusses Quran's impacts on the social status of women in the medieval Arabia. Quran ensures the right of existence of women by and rejecting the traditional practice of killing female children soon after birth. It also gives rights of possession of property, inheritance, education and divorce to Arab women to provide the necessary protection. Islam improved the condition for women after its birth greatly.The third part is about the women's education thought of Quran. Women have the right to pursuit the truth and to receive education according to Quran, they are encouraged to have intellectual pursuit. It helped to form the aims and value orientation of women's education in medieval Arabia and provided its main content, which should cover the family ethics, social regulation and healthy knowledge for women. It aimed to train a traditional wife and mother for the feudal society Quran's impact on the practice of female education in medieval Arabia through its education thought is discussed in the fourth part. It was the basis of Women's education in all kinds of education. It was used for moral cultivation and life skills training.Religious education is an important part in the education system. Women's education is related to family and social harmony as well as early childhood education, which play an important role in the progress of human society. But neither of the two areas has been paid enough attention in contemporary educational research. This study attempts to strengthen the awareness of the Islamic culture and the education in ancient Arab which may provoke the thinking and studying of the education of Islamic women's education.
