Vincenzo·Bellini is a great Italian opera composer who made a great contribution for the revival of the Italian opera in the 19th century. He created a total of eleven operas in his life."Puritan" is his last opera and one of his three representative operas. This opera is full of Bellini's creation style both on the choice of the music theme and the music style. The biggest characteristic in Bellini's opera creation is the writing of the melody."Bellini-style melody lines" makes people amazed, which is also one of Bellini's greatest contribution for bel canto and opera.
