Research Of China's Cultural Industry In Relation To The WTO Rules

With the trend of globalization, cultural products and cultural service trade in the international trade develop more and more quickly. Especially in WTO's framework, cultural industry has displayed its tremendous potential. Cultural industry has become the dominant industry in the international trade. Therefore, greatly developing the cultural industry has become the strategic stress of a country's development. This thesis pointed out a new idea that only correctly understanding cultural globalization, cultural diversity and WTO rules related to culture can better develop cultural industry, and then improve the economic development.This thesis firstly concluded the definitions, significance and other related theories of culture, WTO rules, and cultural industry. Through the documentary research method, the thesis fully analysed China's cultural industry in relation to the WTO rules. And then it tried to find out the current problems existing in China's cultural industry and predict its development trend. Meanwhile, the thesis gave some relevant suggestions in order to make better development of China's cultural industry.
