Doris Lessing And ZhangAiling Novels'comparative Study Under Perspective Of Feminist Criticism

As representatives the two female writers of the peak of Western Feminist, there are too many similarities and differences between Doris Lessing and Zhang Ailing.This paper uses the method of feminist literary criticism to compare the two writers.Paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is the center about Zhang and Lessing's female consciousness, which sorts out the relationship between literature and women writers, analyzed the performance of female consciousness and the causes. Because the times and the environmental impactare different, the female consciousness of Lessing is formed by the theory; Zhang's is formed spontaneously by the realization of life. The second Chapter use feminist literary criticism, from the interpretation of the text on the potential of women to resist gender narrative in order to reflect the distinctive Lessing and Zhang on the physical and cultural aspects of female consciousness. Third chapter, Lessing and Zhang described the world of common concern to women. Also on the prospects for relations between the sexes to parallel compare Lessing and Zhang. Lessing reveals the gender of the harmony and high expectations, but also sought to clarify the potential vision of Zhang calls for women to awaken. I try to explore their world reflected in the novel of female consciousness and concern for ideas of women meeting point by comparison of the two female writers , and in the context of different social and cultural survival of women reflects their own unique place. Theory in feminist literary criticism has become very important now, using parallel research methods to compare the female version of Lessing and Zhang Ailing, its meaning and value is the ability to be fully affirmed.
