| Yan Lianke is a Henan writer with sharp-cut characteristics. Since the publication of his maiden work the Story of Tianma in 1979, he has been sticking in cultivating on the"aquilegia mountains"for nearly thirty years till now. Although Yan Lianke's grand talents mature slowly, he cannot be ignored in the field of literature nowadays. Reading his works always stimulates our metaphysical thoughts. Concerned on the wretched land of the"aquilegia mountains", his focus is the whole living state of the human beings, which has the character of allegorized narration. Therefore, the thesis engaged in analyzing Yan's novels in perspective of allegorized narration, deeply discussing the philosophy that contained within his works and the character of narration, through the analyzing of the view expressed through allegorization in novels. This provides a perspective for the readers to enter the world of Yan's novels better.The content of each chapter are as follows:Introduction: including the origin of the topic, the background and the significance of the research, the related theory on allegory both at home and abroad, the definition of"allegorization", which is a method adopted by the writer, its main character is to say what is different with what he intended to express. Behind the narration of texts, there is a further level, which is the writer's opinion and perception of the world. Narrative differentiates the allegory and works with reference, however, without plots.Chapter I: the allegorized narrative view of Yan's novels. With rich contents and wide field, concerned with the different themes of power, life, humanity and social culture in the countryside, his novels create an allegorized atmosphere which induces metaphorical thoughts. Thus, this chapter analyzes the allegorized view of Yan's novel in three aspects: power allegory, life allegory and humanity allegory.Chapter II: the narrative image of Yan's novels. Firstly, the concept image is explained. Imagery is an essential means in expressing the allegorized theme, which has the function of metaphor. Imagery is a unique complex of aesthetics. Then based on imagery, the concrete image of village, animal, plants and the sun is analyzed to grasp the inclination of his works. Chapter III: the form of allegorized narration of Yan's novels. Firstly, through the closed-open loop structure and upside down structure which express the meaning of life, it is to reveal the effect of structure on allegorized expression. Besides, the allegorized tension of amusing language is analyzed. Then the narrative view of intervention between human and ghost is analyzed. At last, it points out that whether the unique narrative structure or the amusing language or the intervention views, they are all the superficial expression. However, the underneath meaning is the ultimate reference. Therefore the significance of allegorized writing seems more essential.Chapter IV: the significance of allegorized narration of Yan's novels. Allegorized writing injects new vitality into the folk novels, which gives the readers great surprise and hope. It explores the new narrative mode. Compared with other writers of the contemporary field of literature, we find out that Yan's writing not only caters to the modern trend, but also has its own uniqueness. At last,we will find out that his writing is nativeness and cosmopolitan fusion. He combined old China traditional national and regional characteristics with modern breath, and march the pace to the world.The conclusion: conclude the whole thesis. It points out that the intervention of allegorized writing make novels walk out of the simple level of meaning into the level of aesthetics, with bursting passion, and deeper contents, which explores the novels'possibility of the expressing the world. |
