In high school, students are faced with heavy study burden. They meet great pressure in the entrance exam for university, and there is fierce competition in the test, therefore the resulting high level of test anxiety has become an urgent problem to be solved. In this survey, detection rate of students who feel obvious discomfort are 72.4%, mild test anxiety 18.3%, moderate test anxiety 41.3%, severe test anxiety 40.5%. Thus, the test anxiety in student's learning life has become a problem that can not be ignored. Over-test-anxiety does not only influence students'learning achievement and efficiency, but also affects their health both in physical and mental level. In order to discuss the factors which exert influence on test anxiety, the researchers studied from many different aspects, including parental rearing styles, family environment, personality, problem-solving styles, achievement motivation and so on. However, there is little research on the competitive attitude that influence test anxiety, and no research is seen relating the relationship among parental rearing styles, competitive attitude and test anxiety. This thesis attempts to analyze and discuss the relationship among parental rearing styles, competitive attitude and test anxiety in depth, and the impact of the gender, grade and region were discussed, and what function the competitive attitude can perform between parental rearing styles and test anxiety.In accordance with the principle of stratified random sampling, 838 participates were chosen from 5 ordinary middle school in Shijiazhuang, and SPSS 16.0 were chosen to analyze the data. This study inspects the present situation of high school students'parental rearing styles, competitive attitude and test anxiety, and the results verified the research hypotheses, the findings were as follows:1. In general, high school students experienced more parental warmth and mother's over involvement/ over protection; they held a higher level of personal development competition attitude, and hyper-competitive attitude is moderate; the detection rate of students who have an obvious sense of physical discomfort is 72.4%.2. Multiple factors of parental rearing styles, competitive attitude and test anxiety of high school students differ significantly in gender, grade and region.3. There was significant correlation among parental rearing styles, competitive attitude and test anxiety.4. Parental rearing styles and competitive attitude could predict test anxiety significantly.5. The attitude of excessive competitive was a partial mediator between parental rearing styles and test anxiety.
