Research On The Safeguard And Inheritance Of The Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) In Changyang Ziqiu Town

With the development of the human culture, the study on the Intangibles Cultural Heritage becomes popular. As one of the important part of human's "living heritage", Tujia Intangible Cultural Heritage has drew the attention of both domestic and oversea researchers'. Ziqiu, the hometown of famous "Changyang race". Ziqiu has three treasures, namely, the Changyang Tujia folk songs, Nanqu, Dance. The protection for this Tujia culture will greatly since promote respect for humanity's cultural diversity and human creativity.Since 1976, Ziqiu has begun to protect its national culture and in the past 30 years it has made many progresses in this field. They have done general investigation on Tujia's intangible culture and its inheritors, collected datas and managed them in order. There are festivals'of art & nationality culture annually. The regulations for culture inheritance and protection issued accordingly. It has also set up the "protected areas". "Primitively" has already come into the concept of protection. Now it is on the road of nationality education. These acts have achieved great success. However, there are still many problems. The channel of safeguard and inheritance is not smooth, so the folk culture faces great shocks. The Safeguard and Inheritance of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) lacks of consciousness, since there are some protective destruction and constructive destruction this process. What's worse, the safeguard and inheritance of ICH are separated from nationality education.There is interaction relationship between nationality education and ICH. However,this relationship is always ignored. To make people know the importance of ethnic culture and begin to make the safeguard and inheritance into practice is the special purpose of the nationality education. On the other side, the Intangibles Cultural Heritage can help to promote the development of nationality education in different aspects. The basic consideration and aim of both nationality education and the safeguard and inheritance of the ICH are promoting the development of the ethnic group. The combination of these two will greatly enhance the development of nationality education and the whole region.
