This article is composed of three parts, according to the need with a clear learning.Based on Travel to the Western Regions and Records of the Western Countries ,The Collection Essays of Mr.Zhu Shan ,the first part will systematically discuss about the Badakshan recorded in Ming Shi.First of all,Ming Shi had mistook Bahlika for Badakshan .In the 12th year of Yong Le reign of Ming Dynasty(1414), Chen Cheng served as an envoy to the Western Regions, but he did not have the mission to Badakshan. Therefore, it is wrong for Ming Shi to say that Chen Cheng went to Badakshan in that year. The second part will elucidate evolvement of the relation between Tamerlane Dynasty and Yunus in the 15th century.During the period of Shahrukh and Ulugh Beg,the dynast of Tamerlane Dynasty took measures to influence Yunus at the aspects of life style, ideology and culture. When Abu Said predominated Tamerlane Dynasty, the Timurids'chief rivals were the Chaghatayids of Moghuistan, who could at any time lay claim to Transoxania as their heirloom;and this is exactly what Esen Buqa attempted to do.Abu Said stood his ground on the battlefield, but he also had recourse to a political stratagem by giving the Moghul khan`s elder brother Yunus the means with which to drive Esen Buqa back and recover the western part of Moghulistan. An alliance ensued between Abu Said and Yunus Khan that was not only political and military but also personal. After Abu Said died,Center Asia was queasy and disordered. The descendants of Tamerlane combated each other, which provided chances for Yunus to intervene in the affairs of Tamerlane Dynasty. Thus, reversion appeared in the situation of Center Asia. The third part will demonstrate that the recordation in Histories of the Mongols in Center Asia about the number of Babur`s army in a battle with the Uzbeks in Kurmarik was exaggerate. The article will give argument by analyzing Babur`s military strength, the attitude and action of the Mongols, the morale of Samarkand and the religionary conflict in Center Asia.
