The Symbolicand Communicative Characteristics Of Animation

This paper collates the theory of general semiotics and sector semeiology which relate to animation, then reviews the history of animation symbols. Animation semeiology is built on this basis, which brings a new perspective of animation. The concepts, characteristics, types of animation symbols is constructed initially in this theory. It also set up a model of animation symbol system.Animation is a comprehensive arts. Aesthetic concepts for its own is needed to lead its rapid development. And it's necessary for an an art to be mature. This paper trys to find out a possible research directions. Another part of the paper is to analyze the modernity and nationality of animation symbol, and propose practice guidance for animation from the perspective of semiotic.This study will use the method of literature analysis, combined with content analysis, case analysis, the system of scientific methods, to explore animation theory from the perspective of semiotics, in order to draw a constructive conclusions.
