Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology was written in Daoguang times by Zhu Jian, a famous scholar in the Qing Dynasty. It is an essential book for the study of Literary Anthology. Its contents were quoted copiously from various sources, which gave supplements and remedies to the literary works or the explanatory notes in the Literary Anthology. But there are very few treatises on it, and the argument related to it is biased. This thesis puts forward some opinions on it to call the academic circles' attention to it. The thesis is divided into three parts. Part I Author and His Works. Zhu Jian (1769-1850) was born in Jing, Anhui. He presi- dented the provincial examination of Shandong in 1807. After his resignation, he su- pervised Zhongshan, Zhengyi and Ziyang Academy successively for thirty years. He had a good command of classics and the Han school of classics philology. He wrote and compiled a lot.
