Not only has the Chinese Medical and pharmatical science a very longstanding history,but also very great plentiful contents. According to the approximate statistics about the books which are extant al lover the country,there are 9000 kinds and 100000 volumes of the medicine writings which are handed down from past dynasties.Because the theories of the medicine writings are difficult to understand thoroughly,few of the successors of the scholars who study the history of the Chinese make inquires of the medicine writings. On these grounds,we can not but declare that the study works of the Chinese are insufficient. With a view to the above faults,the writer selected the pronunciation annotation of the two Song Dynasties' medicine writings as the study subject,intending to open a little scope of operation in the field of medicine language.The assay is composed of seven chapters. Chapter 1,preface. Its main contents include four aspects. The first,to view briefly the history of the trad-ch-medicine culture and preservation,and hand-down of the trad-ch-medicine classics and to describe the necessity to the studying of the words reserved in them . The second ,to summarise the collaton the printings and the publishment of the classics which had been doing by the government and the nongovernment during the tow Song Dynasties period and the compontary including of Liao Dynasties,Xia Dynasties,Jin Dynasties. The third,the domain is established with the studying significance and academic conditions together. The fourth,the adopted editions are explained. Chapter2,to check with the pronunciation annotation for the medicine writings and to dispel the doubt in them. In this chapter,the pronunciation annotation of the medicine writings is collated overall and to the depth by way of two basic collations,the contrasting one and the reasoning one. Chapter 3 involves the synchronic compare to the pronunciation of annotation.The medicine terms characterize of specialization and systematization. So the same medicine term might have used repeatedly and regularly in those relevant medicine books. Medicine as a science branch,its terms sit with scientific nature. Although a medicine term appears in different medicine books,its meaning could not change greatly and unacceptably. However,the pronunciation is not the case. The physicians often made phonetictranscrotion for the medicine terms by virtue of their own dialects or the pronunciation habits,or the frequent-used-pronunciation nationally. Maybe these transcription ways being rash,it still provides us with a very useful edification and identification when synchronically comparing the pronunciation annotation of the medicine writing. We explore the dialect phenomena of related period and attain some universally supporting materials for diachronically phonetic change. Chapter 4,with the analysis of the pronunciation annotation. We go step further to analyze and categorize the phonetic of the pronunciation annotation systematically. According to the statistics figures,we reveal that it is the physicians themselves who innovated the phonetic characters for the medicine writings' pronunciation annotation. Chapter 5 is to analyse the pronunciation annotation's dialecticism. We examine and verify the wholelife activities and/or the biography of concerned physicians. And the dialect phenomena of the medicine writings 'pronunciation annotation are analyzed and classified. Chapter 6,the comprehensive study of the medicine writings' pronunciation annotation .Its main contents are indicative to three aspects .The first,the dialecticism annotations devote much to the studying of the Song Dynasty's phonetic system. The second,discussing about the classifications of the vowels. The third,discussing about the classifications of the initial consonants.Chapter 7,concluding remarks. The achievements which the thesis obtains are described actually and briefly.
