jishi(即使)" compound clauses are frequently used in Mandarin Chinese. The different adverbs in the clause show the differdent desires of the user and reflet different deep semantics relationship between clauses. In this paper, we anlysis and divide the "jishi (即使) " compound clauses into three types as"concessive · resemble" , "concessive · continue" and"concessive ·total" .We can find obvious differences in these three types of "jishi(即使) " compound clauses, but there are some similaries in them,too.The clause emphasizes some extremitise in different ways, but its purpose is to "give in "first and indicate the real intension in the mine clause. Base on the analysis of this commenness, we classify the "jishi(即使) " compound clauses into "concessive compound clauses" .
