About "V着AP

The word "zhe" is a very important particle in Modern Chinese grammar. In the last several decades, many searchers have studied "zhe" but searched little about the form "V 着AP" . So we will analyse the special form "V 着AP" on the basis of previous research in this thesis.In this thesis we mainly discusses the questions of three respects : First wediscuss the structural relationship of the form " V 着 AP" from its altogethersituations now with the negative adverb "bu". We find: it can express twokinds of different grammar structure: verb-object structure, structure of predication .We named the verb-object structure as W1 and called the sentences which including Wl as S1, We named structure of predication as W2 and called the sentences which including W2 as S2. We also have observed the structural feature and syntactic function of the form "V 着 AP", Namely its ability to serve as composition of sentences.Second, we have probe into the semantic feature of the form "V 着 AP" .Because of the difference of the structural relationship, the semantic feature of the Verb and the Adjective which entered the form "V着 AP" is different,. The adjective of Wl demonstrates the characteristic of the space quality on semantic, and W2 of the adjectives present the characteristic of degree quality on semantic, it can express three semantic direction.At last we observed the pragmatic function of the form "V 着AP" , through researching the language material we collected, We find that the characteristic of the form"V 着 AP" in the pragmatic is: " AP" is always new information, is a focus. The type of sentence which was chosen is variety too: It can choose declarative sentence; interrogative sentence; exclamatorysentence; imperative sentence. It has one's own characteristics in its choice of the type of discourse and the type of writing.We mainly study the characteristic of the verb and adjective from the whole expression including the form "V 着 AP" sentence, under the guide of the total principle with the three-dimension in syntax, semantic and pragmatic, and then observe the syntactic characteristic, the semantic feature and pragmatics function of the form "V 着AP" .
