An Investigation On The Dialect And Its Changes Of Surname Yuan In Changle, Shaoyang County

This article makes an investigation on the dialect and its changes of SurnameYuan in Changle, Shaoyang County. They study of the dialect of SurnameYuan which is far away from the central area can enrich people' s deeper realization of Xiangdialect. Also, it can provide some new material of dialect for an overall description of Xiang dialectThe whole article can be divided into 7 sections.Section I gives us an introduction of the main condition of geography, dialects and change of Surname Yuan in Changle, shaoyang country.From Section II to Section IV it gives a minute description of Surname Yuan in Changle, Shanoyang.Section II describes its tone, rhyme and characteristic; Section III introduces the different pronunciation between classical Chinese and vernacular ;Section IV introduces its homonyms.While in Section V and Section VI, it decibels two phonetic system' s characteristic and its homonyms of the language of Surname Yuan in Huangqiao. And in the last section, it compares the language of Surname Yuan in Changle with that in Huangqiao, then we can sum up the similarities and dissimilarities on their initial consonant, simple vowel, tone, different pronunciation between classical Chinese and vernacular and some everyday expressions.In conclusion, this article provides some authentic date for the study of the development of dialects in a certain area.
