A Study On The Family Relationship In The Qin And Han Dynasties

In Chinese ancient society there are something in commons between the family shape, structure and relationship and the state shape and power practicing. In a sense the state is the magnified family .The Qin and Han Dynasties are the time when our feudal empire is developing and maturating .In that time the family shape and structure impact deeply the development of the state power and were intervened in by it. Owing to the limitation of materials the previous research does not focus on the transformation of the family relation.Based on the historical documents and the bamboo slips, I lay stress on discussing the family ethics and practice of the relationship of couples, the father and the son and the brothers. Inspecting the course and cause of the transformation from the changing angle, we will reveal the social effects of the family ethics to understand deeply the development of the ancient society.
