Music Iconography Of Chnia In Twenty Century

Music iconography is a most important part in the study of Chinese music history.It can vividly depict the music object and phenomena in history,and can compensate the imperfects of music literature.therefore.music iconography has a great significance in research of Chinese music history.Before the 20th century,no'one paid any attention to music iconography for some reasons of social development.But after that,the improvement of scientific technology provides a broad domain of research for developing the Chinese music iconography. With the rapid growth of music iconography,the theory about it has come to set up.this paper proposes to summarize and prospect the development of Chinese music iconography.at the base of reviewing its its history.The whole thesis can be divided into four chapters:Chapter one is the survey of music iconography,it introduces the iconographic history and the external music iconography;In the second chaper,the paper tries to illustrates the course of chinense iconography,and mainly discusses it in every period of the 20th century;Chapter three is the main part of this paper, which is also a conclusion to the achievements made in music iconography.In the last chapter.the paper further analyzes the shades of music iconography between china and abroad in the course of its development,and makes a bright prospect of it.
