On Feminism In Xiao Hong's Works

Based on the principles of feminism, the creation characteristics by Xiao Hong is analyzed in terms of the gender point of view in this paper. Xiao Hong's feminist creation has come into being by destructing and criticizing the culture in which man is the center of the world and conceiving a new literature style in which the characteristics of feminist culture, mentality and physiology are embodied. This paper consists of two parts. In the first part, the destructing and criticizing the androcentrism in Xiao Hong's creation is analyzed, which lay the foundation of conceiving a new literature style; in the second part, based on the feminist text-constructing theory, the contributions achieved by Xiao Hong to the feminist creation is analyzed and summarized from the three aspects of depiction style, language style and theme. By analyzing Xiao Hong's works in different aspects, this paper is to comprehend Xiao Hong's feminist creation characteristics more deeply.
