As a result, this group of language materials can not be exerted. The epitaph of this period are in large quantities, with strong literature authenticity, definite age and place, and special verse-using in special style, which make them important for study of phonology.Firstly, we will have an entirely collect of the verse on epitaph between Wei (魏) Jin (晋) & Northern and Southern Dynasties (南北朝) , secondly, read and collate them carefully, thirdly, make sure the nicely rhyme, judge the feet and make an ending statistics of them, fourthly, come out all the reading of the verse, waiting the test of the learning cirle, fifthly, finish the chart of it, conclude the part of it, compare it with the verse-using before Qin Dynasty and that of Guangyun, lastly, using the way of double proof, contrast it to the verse-using of other poets in Wei (魏) , Jin (晋) and review the inheritance and evolvement of Chinese phonology in literatures handed from ancient times and those unearthed.
