In recent years, the study of the self-concept is one of the important researches in psychology and pedagogy. But the experimental training study of the self-concept is seldom done by us in china.This research employs the experimental designing mode of the experiment-group and control-group before and after experiment training ,and uses a training program of self-concept which is published by ourselves . The experimental objects includes the students of the three grades in primary school . The experimental trailing time is about 12 weeks and two hours per week.From the results, it concludes that:1. After the self-concept training , the students in primary school make an obvious improvement in self-concept level.2. The grade difference exists in the training result of the self-concept .3. Gender differences exist in the training result of the self-concept.This text is divided into five parts altogether, In the fourth part, it discusses the characters of self-concept, theeffective training, the influnent factors, the principles of training and the methods of training in details according to the results of the study and the practice.I think, it is essential to add the training of self-concept to the definite subject teaching process. The level of self-concept can be improved by training.
